Bo Burnham

So I saw a special on comedy central on a new young comedian named Bo Burnham. He is 18 and started out putting videos on YouTube and got almost 20 million views. Now he is doing Shows all over the country. I think he is absolutely hillarious. His show is composed of songs that he wrote. Check him out on YouTube or comedy central!

Music!

i just found this new band called asking alexandria, and i absolutley love their music. it is like blessthefall, bring me the horizon, the devil wears prada, and enter shikari all had a baby and this is what happened. they mix post-hardcore with techno and metal and make it work. they are from York, England, and just dropped their debut album stand up and scream in september of 2009. they are currently touring with evergreen terrace, who i am also a big fan of, for the fallen dreams, and unholy on the almost homeless tour. check em out! now do it now! quit reading my blog, and go listen to them! then let me know what you think

The Dip King

so i have given myself the name of the dip king seeing as how everyone now thinks that they can make a dip that will rival my artichoke and crab dip. so now with that out of the way i say bring on the challenges. i might also add that i don't use a recipe i just eye ball it and it still turns out pretty damn good im told, so for all you recipe using rookies. BRING IT!

Witness! and more.....

so blessthefall just came out with a new album and it is amazing. they stay true to their technical riffs and outstanding vocals. WITNESS is the must have album of the year if you like music. think of these guys as like the beatles of post-hardcore.......ok so not quite the beatles but pretty damn close. some other new albums that i've been enjoying this year is "with branches below and roots above" by the devil wears prada. need i say more? i think not. "the respect issue" by emmure is another one of my favs of the year, so go buy them and enjoy or hit me up and ill let you borrow them. im out UFC is on.

Anchorage to Bemidji.......

So from Anchorage to Bemidji is alot futher than you think and its longer than the 3,398 miles. Its an entirely different way of life and it takes a while to get used to it. Going from Anchorage to Bemidji is difficult because Bemidji is much much smaller and there is not much for a young adult to do but go to work and hang out with old people who love birds and flowers. What's a guy to do?

Twich

Jeremy "Twitch" Steinberg came up one point short in the FMX Freestyle at X Games 15.  Steinberg was trying to win the gold medal for his friend and fallen member of the metal militia Jeremy Lusk, who died earlier this year.  Steinberg was edged out of the gold by the Australian rider Blake "Bilko" Williams, who one-uped Steinberg on his final run.

X

So the X Games have been amazing so far, two 3 peats.  Kyle Loza in MotoX Best Trick and Jaime Bestwick in BMX Vert.

First of Many

So...this is my first ever blog and i am happy to say that it is only the first of many more to come.

Right now the thing on my mind is the X Games, which is only like the biggest event for fans and all who do extreme sports.  If you haven't been watching shame on you but here is what you missed  in MotoX Best trick Kyle Loza took his third straight Gold metal with Blake "Bilko" Williams taking Silver and Todd Potter taking the final position on the podium.  And in the MotoX Best Whip Todd potter took the gold with James Stewart making his X Games debut took the Silver and MotoX veteran Ricky Carmichael taking the Bronze. In MotoX Step Up saw Ricky Carmichael and Ronnie Renner sharing the Gold while Matt Buyten took the Bronze.

In BMX Big Air Kevin Robinson won Gold followed by Chad Kagy winning the Silver medal with Dave Mirra taking the Bronze.  BMX Street Saw Garret Reynolds win the Gold with X Games rookie Ty Morrow getting the silver and leaving Van Homan with the Bronze.

Well that  was my first blog and i look forward to letting you guys know about whats on my mind and maybe somethings you didn't know before.
